Training Ship Chanakya, is the pioneer and the premiere maritime institutes of India. Our vision is to inspire and shape the marine world by providing excellent maritime education and training. Indian Maritime University, a Central University was established by an Act of Parliament in the year 2008. This was necessitated to foster and facilitate maritime studies and research of global standards. Thereafter, all the Government of India Institutes of Nautical and Marine Engineering sector became a part and parcel of this university and so became Legacy Institutes. T.S. Chanakya one of the Legacy institutes of is now known as Indian Maritime University - Navi Mumbai Campus. This campus offers a B.Sc(Nautical Science), Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc(Applied Nautical Science), M.Sc (Commercial Shipping and Logistics Management) and some Modular Courses.
At Chanakya, each day is a new challenge and full of numerous activities (Swimming, yoga, games, jogging,boating etc).
Well Equipped Labs which include Physics / Electronics, Chemistry, Computer etc.
CHANAKYA has a large and well stocked library. Library has collection of more than 10000 books.
